WEDI Member Position Advisory (MPA) Event: X12 Version 8060 CMS Listening Session

WEDI is holding a Member Position Advisory (MPA) event on X12 Version 008060 on Thursday, June 4 from 1-3 pm ET to gather member feedback for an upcoming Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Listening Session as part of its evaluation on potential rulemaking on the adoption of this updated X12 standard. CMS is requesting input on specific topics on Version 008060, including prioritization of transactions for advancement, potential impact of adoption, potential costs for adoption, Version 006020 vs. 008060 for claims attachments, readiness for adoption, operating rules, and alternative standards. WEDI will convene the membership to walk through these key topics and develop consensus recommendations that we will present to CMS during the listening session.
