Spotlight description: As Artificial Intelligence increases opportunities and efficiencies in the dental industry, one particular use case is the utilization of computer vision in the insurance reimbursement life cycle. Many parties are evaluating the efficacy of the technology to improve patient care and clinical review, but the implementation of those technologies into current workflows at the payer or the provider has not shown the full return on investment yet. NDEDIC (National Dental EDI Council) has taken the opportunity to provide guidance in implementing solutions to increase the return on investment multiple parties are making in AI.
