WEDI Spotlight: Modification to the NCPDP Retail Pharmacy Standards and Adoption of a New Pharmacy Subrogation Standard
Last month, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) for CMS-0056-P. The proposed rule, if finalized, would modify the current National Council for Prescription Drug Programs Retail Pharmacy (NCPDP) standards for electronic transactions and expand the applicability of the Medicaid pharmacy subrogation transaction to all health plans. The 60-day public comment period for this rule will close on January 9.
Join WEDI and NCPDP for a special virtual spotlight as we review key changes, end-user value, industry challenges and more. WEDI welcomes Margaret Weiker, NCPDP Vice President of Standards Development to this spotlight to offer details on the proposed rule, discuss implementation issues, and address participant questions. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to offer your thoughts, feedback, and perspectives on this important proposal. This event is free for WEDI members.
